Mariam Yusuph is 11 years old among of the five girls in Fahari ya Msichana group, the group won the social innovation award during Technovation challenge 2022 with their application known as “Andalio”.

“It was not an easy work to become a finalist and get social innovation award, I remember the first time I get registered and join Technovation challenges 2022, as a group we need to collect different challenges from the community, and select one which will be solved by using mobile application. Bad enough we need to use computer to create a Mobile Application, but again was my first time to use computer. So as a group we need to work hard and work across with our mentor. Our mentor does an extra job, because two mentors need to serve seven groups with one computer. We need to spend much time with our mentors and at some days until night, these was dangerous and our parents were afraid. But the good thing we submit the work on time.

It was good luck to our group to be selected as a semifinalist, finalist and at the end we become only group which our idea gets a best on social innovation award.

Am happy again because I can use computer for coding and solve different problem in my community than before”.
