In our Msichana na Teknolojia project (Swahili for “Girls in Technology”), the project works to equip and support girls with ages 8-19 on solving community challenges through technology and innovation by creating mobile phone applications and Artificial Intelligence system.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

• Providing space for technology platform among girls
• Gives girls chances to learn and practice different skills, connect to each other, filtrate their ideas, build teams, and learn how technology can be used in solving different challenges in our communities.
• Girls are learning to create animated videos focused on topics of interest related to the puberty transition. Videos are shared with peers, parents and other influential to raise awareness and advocate for girls’ rights and wellbeing.
