Are you a dynamic individual under the age of 25, passionate about shaping a brighter future for young girls through technology and innovation, making a positive impact and contributing to meaningful change in society?
Urafiki Girls extending its call for volunteers, offering exciting opportunities for those who have either completed ordinary secondary school education, advanced secondary school education, college, university, or are currently pursuing studies in college or university. We are actively seeking dedicated individuals for the two distinctive volunteering positions.
1. Social Innovation
As a Social Innovation Volunteer, you will play a key role in our “MSICHANA NA TEKNOLOJIA” project. Collaborating closely with the Project Officer. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to empowering young girls through technology and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Training, mentoring, and coaching girls’ teams involved in the project.
- Planning and implementing day-to-day activities related to the project.
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of day-to-day activities.
- Designing and developing projects specifically for empowering and inspire young girls through technology and innovation.
2. Social Media Personnel
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the technical team to create content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
- Building brand awareness by engaging with relevant influencers and key stakeholders.
- Maintaining a strong social media presence through consistent online engagement.
- Creating and editing videos to amplify our impact and reach.
Volunteering period: 6 to 12 months
Location: Mwanza Region
